The manual.
Overview
Cachet launches ordinary pump.fun coins for founders who passed an identity check. Each coin is created in a private bundle, so block 0 holds only the create, the founder's locked team bag and the sniper guard. After that the coin trades on pump.fun's curve and graduates like any other.
The five stamps on every coin: the founder's mark (identity checked), SEALED (block 0 measured clean from the chain), the guard's share, the team share still locked, and the month it launched.
Passes and privacy
Founders get a pass once per wallet. They give their legal name, date of birth, a photo of a government ID and two live camera selfies, the second following a random instruction so an old photo can't pass. A person at Cachet reviews every submission, usually within 24 hours.
- Images are re-encoded (which strips location and camera data), encrypted, and seen only by the review team through links that expire after five minutes. They're deleted 30 days after the decision.
- Cachet keeps the verdict, the issuing country and two salted fingerprints, one of the document and one of the person. They let one person link up to 3 wallets and make a ban follow the person to all of them.
- Your legal name is kept only while you choose to show it. Otherwise holders see your display name and that a checked person is behind the coin.
- When Cachet bans an identity, every wallet linked to it loses access and its mark shows Banned.
The sealed launch
You fill in the coin and make one transfer into the coin's own vault. Your ticker and name are held for 10 minutes while you pay. Cachet then signs three transactions with server-held keys and sends them as one bundle to Jito's block engines, never to the public mempool:
- Transaction 1 creates the coin with the vault as its pump.fun creator, pays the 0.05 SOL launch fee, funds the guard and tips the block engine.
- Transaction 2: the vault buys your locked team bag, if you set one.
- Transaction 3: the guard buys its share.
A bundle lands in one block, in that order, or not at all. Cachet generates the mint address and keeps it private until the coin is on chain, so nobody, you included, can aim a sniper at it. Once it lands, the coin page reads back every transaction in block 0 and the outside buyers in blocks 1 to 3. You can also schedule a launch up to 14 days out and announce the time.
The sniper guard
With nothing else allowed in block 0, block 1 is where the bots arrive. The guard buys 1, 2 or 3% of supply (2% by default) inside the bundle at the curve's first price, then watches the curve every 250 ms and sells its whole bag into the first outside buy. With no buyer in 10 seconds, it sells back into the curve anyway. It never holds.
You front the guard's SOL as part of the payment. Straight after launch, its capital and whatever the snipers paid it come back to your wallet, along with anything the launch didn't spend. Nobody can stop a bot buying in block 1; the guard makes it a losing trade, not an impossible one.
Locking the team bag
Up to 10% of supply can be bought in block 0 for the team. The tokens are held by the coin's vault, not your wallet, and released to the unlock wallet you choose: a cliff of 0, 7, 30, 90 or 180 days, then linear vesting over 0, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. The keeper releases vested tokens automatically, and every release is a public transaction listed on the coin page. The lock lives in a wallet Cachet controls for you, not in a smart contract.
Founder curve buys through Cachet stop at 10% of supply across every wallet tied to the founder's identity. You hold your own keys, so this isn't enforced on chain; the coin page shows what the founder holds either way.
Fees and splits
- Launch: 0.05 SOL, once.
- Trading fees are set by pump.fun and paid by traders.
- Creator fees go to the coin's vault, are swept every 10 minutes and paid out: 10% to Cachet, the rest across up to 5 wallets you set at launch.
- Or pick holder rewards, and pump.fun pays creator fees straight to holders. Cachet takes nothing on those coins.
No lookalikes
Before you stamp, the ticker and name are folded to one canonical form: case, spacing, Cyrillic and Greek lookalikes and leetspeak collapse, so $P3PE, $pepe and $PЕPE (with a Cyrillic Е) are one ticker. Names one letter away from a live coin's are refused, and the picture is compared by perceptual hash against every coin on Cachet. Anyone can still copy a ticker directly on pump.fun, but those copies carry no Cachet stamps and no licensed founder.
Ranks and cracked marks
A founder's rank climbs with every coin that graduates with a clean record: Wax at 0, Bronze at 1, Silver at 3, Gold at 5, Crown at 10.
Holders of at least 0.1% of supply can report a coin once, weighted by their bag. When 5 holders holding 5% of supply between them agree, the coin is flagged, and the founder's mark shows cracked while any of their last 5 coins carries a flag. Cachet can also ban the identity behind a founder, which covers every wallet they linked.
Refunds
If you don't pay, nothing happens and the hold lapses. If you paid and the bundle doesn't land after 3 attempts, Cachet waits until the last bundle has expired, checks the chain, and sends the vault's full balance back to the wallet that paid. You never get both a refund and a live coin.
What Cachet can't promise
- An identity check proves a real, unique person launched the coin. It doesn't make the project good or the price go up.
- Cachet holds the keys to every coin vault, so locks and fee splits depend on Cachet running honestly. Every movement is on chain and listed on the coin page.
- pump.fun's own takeover admin can reassign any pump.fun coin's creator fees.
- The coin page tags the founder, the lock, the guard and the first buyers. A wallet the founder controls with no visible link looks like anyone else, so a clean page is evidence, not proof.
- Cachet is not affiliated with pump.fun.
